Want to Learn How to Drive a Stick Shift?

If you have a valid license, are between the ages of 15 to 25 and live in or near Golden, Colorado; Wetaskiwin, AB, CAN, Stayner, ON, CAN, Traverse City, Michigan and Austin Texas, you may be in for a treat. Hagerty is hosting events in these cities to teach these younger automotive enthusiasts how to drive stick.
The events will take place over the summer with limited availability. An additional event in Scottsdale, AZ has already filled all available spots. Each course includes a review of basic car care and maintenance steps to make sure more aspects of car ownership are covered.
Cars are sourced locally from owners who are brave enough to let inexperienced motorists drive their treasured classics. If you'd like to spread the pleasure of three pedals to people who want to learn, you can volunteer your car and your teaching abilities here. Some cars that have shown up in the past included a '28 Packard Phaeton, a 1950 Willys Jeepster and an Aston Martin DB4.
