Stanford Presents - What Will a Cultural History of Cars Look Like?

THE SECOND IN OUR SERIES OF STANFORD LECTURES

Did You Know? - The Rev's Program is the 4th largest major in
Stanford's Science, Technology and Society Department
The work week is over. Take some time to learn more about the Rev's Program and the Preservation of Automotive History. Professor Fred Turner continues our educational efforts by providing a cultural history of automobiles. (AKA - Anthropology as applied to the car culture.) He discusses the ways cars have defined our past and the ways cars are shaping our future.

Spoiler Alert-the middle might seem a bit boring at first, but if you pay attention to questions and discussions from the floor of the lecture hall, the composite is quite interesting.
