October's Here - Trickle Treat

PUT DOWN the BATTERY CHARGER AND STEP AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE

As we wind down many of the seasonal Classic car events, owners will begin the process of storing their vehicles until next Spring. One of the most common practices is to disconnect the battery, then store it in a warm place and/or connect a trickle charger to keep it maintained.

Unfortunately and in many cases, this decades old process ends with your battery turned into a useless 40 lb brick of plastic and lead. If that's ever happened to you during the car season or as you take your Classic out of hibernation, you need to watch the video from Jay Leno's Garage.
