The Next Generation of Dream Car Dreamers

TOMORROW'S DESIGNERS ARE HERE
This young lady's reaction was amazing to watch -

Over the past month or two, we have posted several articles concerning the Dream Car Collection now on exhibit at the High Museum in Atlanta. Without question, the exhibit is wonderful to see. It is even more fascinating when you realize many of the designs and concepts incorporated into these "one-of" vehicles are features and systems only now finding their way into automotive production.

While reviewing recent photos of the collection it became apparent one real story yet to be told was the one describing the audience of viewers taking in the fascinating designs. We only wish we had noticed the young people in attendance sooner - and had taken more photos of them reacting to each vehicle.
Not one word was ignored as they read the story of the 1970 Ferrari (Pininfarina) Concept Car

But we did witness a number of young people - from pre-teens to those in their late teens and early twenties intensely viewing each car in the collection. While some were explaining to a nearby parent or adult what they really liked about the design, others were explaining what they would do differently.

Whether these young people actually follow their dream to be a future automotive designer or not, only time will tell. But for now, we can take comfort knowing the next generation of imaginative thinking, designers and creators is with us now. Let us all encourage them...
Wonder what these two were watching so closely - see below...

We encourage them to "Keep their feet on the ground, and keep reaching for the stars"... Casey Kasem
