AN ORIGINAL 1956 OLSMOBILE HOLIDAY

RIDES JUST AS A FULL-SIZE CAR USED TO RIDE...
Sitting among a collection of superbly restored classic cars, we came upon a beautiful 1956 Oldsmobile Holiday 4-door hardtop owned by John Clark.

"I am the third owner, and have owned the car for the past 12 years.  The car has just passed 75,000 original miles and still rides like a classic full-size car used to ride." explained John.

"Except for the tires, it is 100% original as delivered.."

What makes this car unique among the classics we visited during the "Motoring Thru Time" Car Show is this '56 Olds Holiday is original and all stock with the exception of the tires.  John tracked us down as we walked the show, eager to be sure we knew that his car was as original as one could be.

Clean and very well-maintained, only the worn leather of the driver's front seat back told you this seat was original.

When asked to explain why he felt it necessary to point of the difference in tires used, he went on to explain, "In 1956, the car only came with standard bias-ply tires.  Today, the best tires are radial.  Having a set of 4" wide white walls doesn't take away from the appearance of the car, and makes it a better driving car."

Beautiful car John, it is obvious you have taken great care of a true classic. Congratulations!
