EVERY TUESDAY

CLASSIC CAR OWNERS MEET FOR BREAKFAST
As told to me, it's a tradition that's been going on for years at the Marietta Diner on Cobb Parkway in Marietta, GA.

After hearing the story of about 100 Classic car owners getting together at a 50's style Diner, I decided to pack up my camera and go see for myself.

When I arrived, the morning sun was still low in the sky. The main parking lot was filled to the brim with normal everyday cars. "Hmm, I wonder if this is the right place," I thought. Meandering towards the back of the lot, I found an empty parking space.

As I pulled into the spot, I saw another parking area not visible from the street or the main lot. It was also filled to the brim, but with Classics, antiques, and hot rods. The large group of people were looking at the cars or engaged in conversation.

I had to remind myself it was a Tuesday and barely after 8 AM, yet the lot was full, cars skillfully arranged as if set up for an event, including open hoods, show cards, and vehicle descriptions. I decided to just walk around for a while, get a closer look at the cars, and see if I knew anyone in the crowd. I'm still not exactly sure how I missed it, but the next time I looked up, the crowd was gone. All of them now inside the Diner for a meeting of the ROMEO's*.
